I think the Sit 'n' Stroll is great, but it is not always ideal as a stroller to use outdoors. The wheels are small, and if the sidewalks are rough, it does not always pull the gratest. Also, the baby is quite low down in the stroller, which is not always great depending on where you are and what you're doing. It also has no tray or cup holder, which can be really nice features. Finally, it has no basket or anything else for any type of storeage underneath, which can be really handy for storing a diaper bag, groceries, etc. We used our Sit 'N' Stroll as a carseat and stroller mostly indoors. It was great for taking on shopping trips. We used a Graco stroller for walks around the neighborhood, to the grocery store, and any other places we wanted some storeage space under the stroller to help us out. I can't remember the Graco model we have. I would recommend going to a baby store and trying out whatever strollers they have on display. Make sure it feels good to pull, and also that you are comfortable folding and unfolding it, as you will have to do that a lot to get the stroller on and off public buses. If you are looking for a carseat and stroller combined, the sit 'n' strol is fantastic, especially if you will mostly be using it indoors. If you're planning to walk a lot outside however, I would probably look into other stroller options. We were extremely lucky to have gotten our stroller as a gift, so we were able to purchase our sit 'n' stroll as well and have the luxery of both options.
Also, I have pulled strollers using a guide dog, so would be happy to answer any specific questions off list if you would like. My email is

I don’t know if she is on this list, but Mary Jo Hartle showed me the Sit ’n’ Stroll stroller at convention. It folds up into a carseat or can be used as a stroller.

Hi all, I am in search of a good stroller! My baby is one years old and she is starting to get a little bit heavy to carry around in the baby carrier. I am looking for a stroller that is easy to pull and can go on public transportation. I found a wagon stroller on Amazon, but it was really big and designed for two kids. I have tried pulling in umbrella stroller, but I find it very difficult because I feel like I know what half the stroller is doing and I don't know what the other half is doing. Suggestions are very welcome! One other question, if any of you have pulled a stroller with a guy dog, any tips on how to make this work?
Thanks!
