Jennifer,
No words can express how incredibly sorry I am. We are glad you have
returned, and hope that we can provide any comfort in your attempt to create
a new norm. Please know you and your family will be in my preyers.

Sincerely,
Jessica K. Reed

Subject: [blparent] returning to the group

I just took a deep breath and made myself start typing. I have wanted to get
back on this list for a long time now, but the step of explaining why I
disappeared always just seemed to difficult.

I lost access to my email and many things electronic last year after a home
fire. What was not destroyed by fire ended up drenched in water. The true
horror of the event was the death of my then 15 year old son who did not
make it out of the house. There are no words for the depths of this loss. I
am still so blessed to have my other two sons who are now 9 and 11.

I have my old email address back now after discovering that for all this
time att.net was still receiving them all when I had assumed that the
address was gone when I terminated the service after the fire.

I have really missed the common sense and various parenting points of view
of this group.

Jennifer
