[blparent] Introduction and a question

The only assumption we can make is that the father is not a client of the
original poster. I routinely go places without my husband and need or want
to take children with me. In fact, I remember asking this same kind of
question about strollers and carseats when my first child was on the way and
I was otherwise a very competent and independent traveler. There are a lot
more options now, and I am definitely pleased to know that it will take a
lot less muscle than I put into hauling around car seats and everything else
when my children were that size as I doubt I will have that in me by the
time my grandchildren come along. :)

We have not been given any information by which we can assume that the
father in question, if there is one, is a sperm donor. That's a dangerous
and needless conclusion to jump to.

My sense is that in this case, the father is a father in sperm donation
either.
And like J.E. says, why are you asking these questions for her? She can get
on the list and ask whatever she wants. So can you, it's just odd that you
are and she isn't. Makes me wonder what more is going on.

Hey now, don't forget the fathers.
LOL.

Why don't you suggest that your client might want to join this list? She
could ask the question for herself, and a lot of other parenting questions,
too, if she is interested. There are many mothers of babies and toddlers
here, and some mothers of older children, or mothers whose children are
grown now.

Hello Judy,
Thanks for the information. I had almost thought of that angle but not all
the way
