Hi,

Why would you assume such a thing knowing nothing about the situation other
than what was posted by a rehabilitation teacher? That's just mean and
insensative. If I were her and I were lerking on this list, because you
never know, after reading the below I wouldn't speak up either. Maybe the
mother doesn't know how to use a computer or maybe English isn't her first
language, or maybe a hundred other things that really are none of anybody
else's business. All we can do is be supportive and hope it helps. That's
what we're here for, isn't it?

Tammy

My sense is that in this case, the father is
a father in sperm donation either.
And like J.E. says, why are you asking these questions for her? She can get
on the list and ask whatever she wants. So can you, it's just odd that you
are and she isn't. Makes me wonder what more is going on.

Why don't you suggest that your client might want to join this list? She
could ask the question for herself, and a lot of other parenting questions,
too, if she is interested. There are many mothers of babies and toddlers
here, and some mothers of older children, or mothers whose children are
grown now.

Hello Judy,
Thanks for the information. I had almost thought of that angle but not all
the way
