Some things that have worked for me. Using goggles until they get used to it just make sure they are not the really cheap type that the buckle gets undone. Letting them help you put the water over their head they can have their own cup. Washing a dolls head. Using tear free shampoo until they get used to closing their eyesif there is a Nother child that doesn't mind having the water poured over their head it is helpful for the child that is scared to see someone else have it done to them or, you can show her that it is not scary for you by pouring water over your own head
