This was an old-school one, so easy to get the hang of. It did have a digital change counter, I think, but no one, sighted or blind ever used it.

That is a neat idea Judy. I don't know if I have ever learned how to use a cash register. if I did I sure don't remember it.

You're right about those back-to-school days. I hated getting the schools supply lists in July! Really!? Who wants to prepare for
school in July, when the kids just got out of school for summer between June 15 and 20?
One thing I remember from the short time our kids were in public school is that the school would sell things like tablets, pencils,
erasers, etc, and the PTA president showed me how to use their cash register so I could sell to kids who needed supplies. The
supplies were where only the cashier could reach them, and this little miniature store was set up in the corner of the cafeteria, I
think it was about 3 days a week.

Hi all: I guess you are all busy getting your kids ready for that first day of school. Are your kids excited? or are they like,
awe! Do I have too? I used to really struggle with afording school supplies I remember. I did it but boy i just did it barely.
I was a single mom from when my daughter was one and a half until she was sixteen. Thankfully my mom and stepdad helped out when
they could. Parenting sure isn't for sissies.
every dog has its day but the nights belong to the pussy cats.
