Bob,
I am like you an American.  I can speak for no other than myself.  I am from South Carolina and I'm currently working on a Masters Degree.
I am uncertain as to the point of your message.  Yes, you are correct their are Some whom embody the traits above - but not all of us.
Painting all of us with a broad brush in such a way is implying we all feel this way.
More importantly, i do not believe messages such as the one you delivered belong on a list such as this.  To my knowledge, this list is for people who are blind and are or someday may be parents.  Furthermore I understood this group to be a place where we can gain knowledge from those who have greater knowledge on a subject.

If you're writing this to spark discussion - well done, but I do not believe this is the forum for such a discourse.
