My ten-year-old just reminded me of kidtube
or maybe kidstube, it's like Youtube but all kid appropriate content. Also
Nat Geo has a really good kids' section
There is also kids doodle, which is a drawing app on the Iphone.
Also, see about getting hooked up with Prodidgy games, they are associated
with the school systems, so your kid will need a user id and password
provided by the school system. It involves math. There is also pow tunes,
which is a way to make presentations, also associated with the school system

Subject: [blparent] Accessible educational game apps for sighted kids

What are educational game apps for preschool children whom are sighted but
have blind parents? We tried a couple of apps including the ABC Mouse and
PBS Kids app, but neither are accessible for my husband and I to even start
a game let alone assist in any way. Wondering if anyone has apps to
recommend for our four-year-old to play on the iPad that have some
accessibility to them for my husband and I.

Bridgit
