					Yes. Amanda you care, because if you
ask about Medicare (get it?) you won't get the answer you want/need. 
The way to remember this is that Medicaid aids the poor, and Medicare cares
for the elderly. 
We can argue all day if the terms are correct or appropriate, I use them
because it's a good way to remember which system does which and where you
may fall if you use either system.

Not necessarily.

"Disabled people who are approved for Social Security disability insurance
(SSDI) benefits will receive Medicare, and those who are approved for
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will receive Medicaid."

Some relatively younger persons receive Medicare.
