				Tara,
Plan on using the playroom as a giant storage room. The kids probably won't play in it unless you are with them.
Mine want to be wherever I am, and I like that, it leads to some good conversations and observations and I always learn something.
You can always teach them to put their stuff back in the playroom, just don't plan on them using it to actually play.
I'm curious to know why you want this set up?

Only child, playroom didn't work because she didn't like to be alone in there. She wanted toys where she could have contact with me. It might work with two kids where they can have attention from each other. Good luck!

Successful with 1-2 kids, but when we started having a few more kids, and the kids were getting spread out in age, 8 and 4, they played with different things and had different interests. Seemed to cause more conflicts. We still get conflicts between kids, but what parent doesn't, but their toys are pretty much in their own room. We have 4 kids and the two youngest are sharing until the next summer and then we'll have to figure something different out.

We live in a three-bedroom condos all the rangement‘s are master bedroom for me and my husband, then our girls are sharing the second bedroom and the third bedroom will be a play room. My goal, hope, dream, is to keep the toys in the playroom and not all over the house. Has anyone ever created a play room for their kids? How successful was the playroom for you? Thanks for any advice or stories of your experience.
