I’m not sure where or whom told you, using a CGM is not recommended for pregnant women, that isn’t true. The Freestyle Libre is a CGM. The wand that is waved across the sensor that is inserted into the arm is also the glucose meter. The Freestyle Libre app has no use unless the person is using the Freestyle Libre sensor & glucose meter. To answer your question directly, No, I don’t know anyway to get apps from other countries. Unless creating a new Apple ID & choosing  the country of choice will work. I’m not sure if this is even possible.
