[blparent] Liberti is here & question

They still have them. They are just harder to find. You can also buy the different size bottles. At times, I just pored milk and let her drink because she never had a lot of spit up issues anyway. When she was first born I bought the right size bottles. They also have the measured bottles on amazon, but they are high. That is if you use liquid formula. Doctors will say do not do this, but I had to do it on my own and did not have the right size bottles always. You do what you have to do. Mine is nine so I guess I did fine. I had breast feeding issues too due to iron being low and not producing enough.

I have the same question. We pump and bottlefeed, and I would like to be able to measure the milk out into our Dr. Brown’s bottles independently but have not figured out a way to do so yet. The one way I thought about was to place the empty bottle on our talking scale and see how much it weighs then add the amount that I think would be the correct amount and weigh again.

They weren't special. For newborns you wouldn't want more than a 4 ounce bottle and you could probably fill with enough liquid to reach your finger if you were doing a 2 ounce bottle. I did notice, though, that bottles used when my grandson was born almost 5 years ago that the bottles felt much different than the ones I used. I'm sure others have better and more current suggestions, but that worked all those years ago. My younger son also had trouble breast feeding mostly because I could not produce enough, but they have survived into their 30's so I guess all of us made it! Good luck.

My question is, does anyone have good suggestions for measuring ounces of milk? I am thinking are you talking scale is a great way to go, but it also sounds like a hassle. Does anyone have any good tips or tricks for measuring specific ounces?
