Oh yes! Why did I forget about this? I used measuring cups to pour both breastmilk and formula. *Slaps forehead.*

Hello
I am a blind mother and now a grandmother I use measuring cups to fill the baby bottles and it works perfectly
1/4 equals 2 ounces
A half cup equals 4 ounces
1 cup equals 8 ounces
Using measuring cups puts the right amount in the right amount in the bottle Just to make sure the first time i tried this method i had a sighted person check to make sure the liquid was lining up with the appropriate ounces line on the baby bottle I hope this helps Warmly becky boyer

They weren't special. For newborns you wouldn't want more than a 4 ounce bottle and you could probably fill with enough liquid to reach your finger if you were doing a 2 ounce bottle. I did notice, though, that bottles used when my grandson was born almost 5 years ago that the bottles felt much different than the ones I used. I'm sure others have better and more current suggestions, but that worked all those years ago. My younger son also had trouble breast feeding mostly because I could not produce enough, but they have survived into their 30's so I guess all of us made it! Good luck.

My question is, does anyone have good suggestions for measuring ounces of milk? I am thinking are you talking scale is a great way to go, but it also sounds like a hassle. Does anyone have any good tips or tricks for measuring specific ounces?
