[blparent] accessible ways to find out results of a pregnancy test

Those tests degrade after a few minutes, so I'm not sure about the validity of keeping a home pregnancy test for the sake of posterity. You might be able to take a photo of a home pregnancy test and keep the photo, if you're into that sort of thing.

I was going to suggest that.
You can also just tell your doctor or midwife you think you're pregnant and have them run a test which they will do for anybody, blindness has nothing to do with it.
Then if you want to have a test for posterity's sake that you know is positive, pee on the stick and put it in with other momentos.

Amanda, this would be an unusual one but have you tried downloading the be my eyes app? It is a fabulous one and connects you almost immediately with a sighted person who wouldn't know you who could look at the result. (And I just realized who you are! <smile>) Sharon

Hello to all.
My husband and I are trying to conceive. I've recently had some symptoms that have made me wonder if I could possibly be pregnant. I have not taken a pregnancy test yet because my husband and I live on our own with no sighted family members nearby. Since this is the case, I'm wondering how to find out the result of a home test once I take one.
Thank you for your feedback,
Amanda and Jeff Crouch
