An L-shaped bunk bed fits into a corner, with the lower bed along one wall and the upper bed along the perpendicular wall. So the bunks are not above each other. They're supposed to save space because a desk or dresser or other piece of furniture can be placed beneath the upper bunk, along the wall perpendicular to the lower bed.

Good luck,

Subject: [blparent] Girls sharing a room looking for ideas

Hi all! During the next few months my husband and I are planning on doing a little rearranging over house. We are planning on moving our soon to be two and soon to be four-year-old daughters enter a room together and then turning our other bedroom which is kind of a storage room office baby room into a playroom for the kids. Play room also have a sofa with the hide a bed we hope so that when we have family friends come over they have somewhere they can sleep. Anyway, I’ve been trying to find ideas on how many girls can share a small room together. My condo has pretty small bedrooms. Most of the ideas are on Pinterest and I am finding them in accessible. Has anyone ever done a project like this? I’ve heard of L-shaped bunkbeds. What are those? Thanks for any help or ideas!
Tara
