Ah, the paper dilemma!

What I finally did was buy a plastic tote that fit under my daughter's bed,
the long kind that you might store wrapping paper or blankets in. I asked my
daughter to help me decide which art and school papers she wanted to keep.
At first everything was important to her. I didn't argue. We stashed it all
in the tote. Then at the end of the year, we went back through and cleaned
out the mess. Suddenly, old spelling tests and math sheets didn't matter to
her so much anymore. She was willing to drop them in the recycle bin. Once
she did it on her terms, we ended up with a nice handful of art projects and
writing assignments from the later years of school. Her preschool stuff is
still a mess, but at least we have a good handle on the elementary
paperwork. I hope that helps.

Hi Jen thanks for your message. A good way for all of you to tell time is to
set an alarm on your phone. If your daughters have clocks in their bedrooms,
they can help keep track of the time while getting ready for school in the
morning. I do not know about setting up an Apple watch. You can ask the
school to email you copies of the papers they come home with.
