[blparent] I never thought I would need advice on this again, but!!

Hi all,


So I never expected to need to ask any baby questions like this again, 
but I am sitting here needing all new baby stuff because we're due in 
August.  I figured my baby days were behind me,but, apparently not, so I 
need help.  Can anybody with little ones tell me what's good baby gear 
to have now?  I mean the basics I know, like cribs and what not.  But 
what about strollers, baby carriers etc?  What can't you live without?  
What have you got that maybe doesn't work so well, or maybe works better 
then you expected?  I don't have access to a car much, but I have a dog, 
and I take the bus most places now that I live in a city with good buses.
