Thank you so much Tara! I really appreciate that you took the time to let me know about your situation! And it seems quite similar to mine!

There are two reasons for this. Number one I really do love the program. Number two, I need some thing that is completely accessible and that I don’t have to fight. It helps me stay a little bit sane. Aand, my daughter has grown a ton from that program. She has really learned moreShe has really learned more than all the online school we’ve done and all of last year ‘s school. Our school is using canvas. Quite a bit of it is accessible but there are a few things that are not. Taking videos of her reading or her written work is accessible as long as I use the app. The quizzes are accessible. I’m able to play most of the videos, sometimes I find it difficult Play some obscure video. My daughter is usually able to click on it with a mouse. My dad is retired and comes over every day to help her with the math portion of school. My husband is cited and he is working from home. Sometimes after work we have to continue with school stuff. Sometimes my husband can take a quick break from work and help with the stuff that is in accessible to me. We also have a neighbor who is staying home as a nanny to a little baby and she has occasionally stopped in to help with an in accessible video or submitting an accessible assignment. I did incidentally call my child’s teacher and ask her to read something to me. It helped her to realize that a screenshot just isn’t going to work and the next screenshot that my daughter has to read she will type in rather than just take a picture.
> I hope this helps. Oh, one more thing. You do have the law on your side cording to the Americans with disabilities act they have to make things accessible to you because you are the parent and your child is dependent on you to receive an education. I know there are a bunch of dictation errors in this email and I hope you were forgive before sending it and edited. It is getting dinner time here and I must feed my family.

However a lot of the apps are not accessible. There are also workbook assignments that I cannot read. I am wondering how some of the other parents are handling these situations
