I’m writing to you on behalf of Pearson to request your assistance in recruiting participants for an online equation editor user study. Our goal is to meet with middle school, high school and college students who have a working knowledge of Nemeth, interview them to understand features of equation editors that are helpful to students, and seek their feedback on how students are currently completing math assignments. Research sessions will last between thirty minutes to one hour, and students will be compensated $50.00 for each half hour. This online study will provide our research team with valuable information and assist us in planning future equation editor user studies.
We would be grateful if you would share the following link to our recruiting survey on any mailing lists and student/teacher forums that you feel are appropriate.
