[blParent] Accessible Monitor or Surveillance System

Hahaha, I was just talking about our discussions with my younger daughter today, and she remembers playing in the Tupperware in the lower cupboards, and she remembers being fascinated with, of all things, baking soda.

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your input and kindness. We are considering trying some adhesive locks and absorbing the cost for repair, and we might look into some of the tech suggestions others mentioned here. And yes, we have bells and plan to use them soon. We’ve heard from so many other parents they’re very helpful. We already cleared out a shelf and have our hand soap for the sink in a nearby cupboard that’s on the wall, which solved a lot of problems. Our daughter loves playing with liquids, and I think she thinks spices are colorful sand. LOL! Have a lovely day!

Jada's stroller for her baby actually had a console with speaker and hookup for your phone, and the console is at the handle, so, if you are a runner, you could take the baby on your jaunt. Crazy.

We know we can’t keep our daughter out of the kitchen completely, and I’m totally fine with that. We already child safety locks some cabinets, but we can’t child safety lock everything because some adhesive locks will damage the woodwork and we don’t want to pay our leasing office for the damage. And our daughter is able to climb over the baby gate we had, so it’s pretty useless. As parents, Ben and I know kids make messes. It has happened several times, and we know it will happen more. We just want something to detect where our daughter is if we have to leave her unattended for a few short moments when we need to be in another room or tend to our younger daughter.
