I remember one time at a La Leche League meeting, there was a new member who came, is sighted, and, for some reason, very afraid of giving her new baby medicine, afraid of too much, too little.

I had a notched syringe handy, and showed her what we would do at our house.

Her demeanor totally changed, she was very excited, relieved, I can actually say overjoyed, as this issue bothered her greatly.
