Hello Angela & CABS,

The cost for tuition for the 2009-2010 year is $26 per college unit or credit hour.  The term credit hour is the same as a college unit.  I am not sure when or where the term credit hour came from.  In 2008 the cost was $20 per unit and I am not sure what it was in 2007.

Does anyone know what the community college tuition in CA was in 2007 and
2008? I think its $20 a unit this year, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, what the heck's a credit hour?
