Another suggestion completely unrelated to technology I promise.

I noticed that key activities that we did such as the rafting trip  
don't have dates.  I mean it says on a gorgeous  August day, which is  
very good, but I wonder if it wouldn't be better for posterity if we  
gave the precise dates of such events.  This is in light of your  
history inquiry.
