NEW COURSE OFFERINGS FROM RIGEL TECHNOLOGY!
 Great news! The Summer Office Skills Training program is about to launch as
well
as our
Website Developer Course!
The Office Skills course is a 32 hour accelerated version of our popular
Microsoft
Office
Specialist class.  This course will begin Monday, July 12 2010 and end
August 31st
2010.
Students will have online access to study materials, and special network
resources.
Based upon our successful Advanced Office Class which we developed for the
State
of Oregon
Commission for the Blind, the class is taught by Rigel Technologies in an
online
format. It
will cover MS Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel.  Students may select one
of two
course
offerings:  Advanced Office 2007 Instruction or Advanced Office 2010
Instruction.
Intermediate progress reports will be issued and a final test will be
administered
with the
results sent to the student and the student VR counselor, if applicable.

2.  Rigel Technology Website Developer Course
Rigel Technology is pleased to offer a new course to help people learn about
developing
and
maintaining websites.  Whether your goal is to be a web designer, or to
maintain
your own
websites, or to work as a consultant in the ever-growing web industry, this
course
is for
you.
Taught by Microsoft Certified Professionals, students will learn about
basics of
HTML Coding
using text editors, and how to use HTML in combination with other tools such
as Microsoft
Word, PowerPoint, and more to create dynamic and accessible websites.
Our focus is on creating visually appealing, accessible sites easily found
by search
engines, and easily readable by all browsers.
This is a 14 hour course, and is web based.  Students who successfully
complete this
course
will receive certification. Classes are limited to 5 participants.
