Hello Members,
I along with Angela was also one of the fortunate ones to be able to attend Washington seminar. I'd like to second everything that Angella just mentioned in the previous email. Our work has not yet been finished. Our work has just begun. What I have done upon returning from Washington DC is stayi in contact with my local Congressional representative. In fact, since he is new I will be attending his swearing in ceremony this week. I encourage all of you to contact your local representative and schedule an appointment to discuss the issues that were presented at Washington seminar. We all want changes to occur, but those changes will not occur if we don't strive to change anything. I am also willing to help if anybody needs any information regarding these issues. The CABS board members are here to help. Don't hesitate to reach out to us.
