Let’s Grow Fungi!



Spring is here and it’s time to celebrate new growth! This month Voyagers
will learn how to cultivate their own food by growing their very own
mushrooms from the comfort of their home! Students will receive a special
grow kit and will meet virtually two times for instructions and follow up.
This is a fun activity to teach your child responsibility in a fun way as
the kit needs to be watered daily for about 10 days. Mushrooms are edible
and can be used in a family cooking recipe after they have matured!



Event is for all ages of students with visual impairments - students must
attend both dates

Monday, May 11 at 3:00pm and Thursday, May 21 at 3:00pm
