Hi All!
Happy long weekend! Hope everyone's hanging in there.
I heard through the grapevine about a free program, targeted at teens
but open to young adults as well, where blind/VI folks are sent art
materials by mail, after which they attend a virtual event where
they're taught how to engage with different forms of
accessible/tactile art. The first two sessions are clay and drawing.
Links below; feel free to send to your people.

While I'm emailing all the cool blindness educators and blind students
I know, you and yours may find this article about teaching in corona
times interesting. And you may or may not recognize a familiar
name/face. (Bear in mind that, of course, it's not perfect, I'm
misquoted, there's a bit more 'inspiringness' than I'd like, etc. ...
but still a bit of excitement in these strange times!)
