Hi all,



I’m excited to announce the Youth of Tomorrow Student led fundraiser.

You are cordially invited to the Youth of Tomorrow Student Fundraiser!



This fundraiser is led by a group of seven visually impaired students
participating in Vista Center’s Youth of Tomorrow program; Natasha,
Lillian, Raghav, Santiago, Paulina, Yaddi, and Aaron. For the virtual
event, the members of this group will present what forms of assistive
technology has helped them in their daily life to aid students who are also
visually impaired. There will be fun icebreakers throughout the event, such
as guessing song lyrics and a round of conversation starters. Additionally,
there may be live entertainment in the form of a band or a music artist for
the guests’ enjoyment.



Goal: The goal of this fundraiser is to introduce visually impaired
students to forms of assistive technology to help them become organized,
punctual, and efficient in their academic lives and help raise money
towards future activities geared toward life after high school and the
Youth of Tomorrow Program.



Who: Youth who are blind and visually impaired and their families and
teachers are welcome to attend
