Vista Center wants to highlight YOU! Vista Center is raising awareness for
how people who are blind or have low vision live their life. How often has
a kind, but unknowing person offered to help you with something you were
fully capable of doing (sometimes they even forget to ask!)? Through social
media, we are sharing your Point of View (POV).

Choose something you are proud of or something unique that you want the
world to know. An example is a young woman who was born with two fingers on
each hand shared how proud she was to put on her own necklace without any
help. Perhaps you want to show how you play an instrument, cross the street
on your own, use technology to read your work, or share your favorite
hobby, creating art or playing a game with braille. No skill is too small
or too big!

Bring your skill to Vista Center and Bethany Small will record a short
video of you. Can’t make it? Ask a friend to record you and submit to
bsmall at vistacenter.org. Video will be edited and submitted for
consideration. Remember to follow our Instagram and Facebook to see the
final result!

Vista Center is excited to share your Point of View to raise awareness that
you are independent, confident, and can do anything you put your mind to!

Tips for videos and prep:

1. Dress nicely, we want to represent you in the best way! Your
normal wear is great, but be sure to comb your hair and look presentable

2. If recording independently, record vertically (NOT landscape) with
a solid background if possible (remove visual clutter)

3. Ensure the camera is focused on you

4. Have fun!
