*Hi all,*

*Please share this information with anyone who may be interested.*

*Youth of Tomorrow is for young adults with vision loss, ages 14 – 24. This
group will support your transition to college, career, and independent
living. Workshops focus on creating the confidence and independence needed
for a successful adulthood.*

*UPCOMING WORKSHOP*

*Meet Student Advocacy Leaders!*

*This month, Youth of Tomorrow will meet with fellow students who are
involved in student consumer advocacy groups and talk about how they are
important for connecting you to your peers, support and resources. A
student panel will present and teach you about these student advocacy
groups as well offer a safe space to ask them your questions related to
advocating for your needs at school, work, or with the public, and connect
with each other in a relaxed and fun environment. Bring your lunch as we
discuss and learn about National Federation of the Blind
<https://nfb.org/> and American Council of the Blind <https://acb.org/>. *

*Aaron Espinoza is the current President of the California Council of Blind
Students (CCBS) <https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064833189429>.
He is majoring in computer science and sociology at Bakersfield College. He
works as a freelance web accessibility tester. He is a member of both the
