Greetings:

I hope this email finds you well.

As has been communicated previously, the Payan Vs. LACCD court hearing date
is nearing closer. This is a landmark case that has implications for
students attending school across California and beyond, where
accommodations may no longer be respected and/or honored at many
educational institutions, as well as other implications for accessibility
within the classroom. As students, you understand how accommodations play a
significant role to ensure success in your various educational aspirations
and goals, as well as maintaining pace with your peers in the classroom.

We are looking for a significant turnout of supporters from students to
attend the hearing to show how monumental of an impact this holds for
students across California, as well as for other schools in other states in
the country. The date to attend is Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The hearing
begins at 9:00 AM. Having as many supporters is highly encouraged. The
location is:

Richard H. Chambers Court of Appeals
125 S. Grand Ave.
Pasadena, CA  91105

If transportation is needed, it may be possible to seek some assistance.

the month, we are having our CABS committee call today at the usual time
from 3:00to 4:30 PM.

This is a reminder regarding the Payan V. LACCD case that willbe held
tomorrow, November 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time. We encourage
all that are able to to go and be present and show how impactful this case
is for students rights in the classroom to be maintained. This affects
schools from California and beyond should it not be upheld. The more canes
present at the court, the greater we send a message of its implications.

I am excited to announce that CABS is hosting a social call this upcoming
Saturday! It's been a while since we had our last informal meeting, where
we can relax and just have fun!
At the call, we will be playing Would You Rather (debate style), where we
have some difficult prompts that are meant to get everyone's brains
whirling. We would love to kick off the Thanksgiving festivities by
spending some time with fellow students from all over California and hear
