[CABS-Talk] Update On Payan Vs. LACCD

I hope this email finds you well.

As has been communicated previously, the Payan Vs. LACCD court hearing date
is nearing closer. This is a landmark case that has implications for
students attending school across California and beyond, where
accommodations may no longer be respected and/or honored at many
educational institutions, as well as other implications for accessibility
within the classroom. As students, you understand how accommodations play a
significant role to ensure success in your various educational aspirations
and goals, as well as maintaining pace with your peers in the classroom.

We are looking for a significant turnout of supporters from students to
attend the hearing to show how monumental of an impact this holds for
students across California, as well as for other schools in other states in
the country. The date to attend is Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The hearing
begins at 9:00 AM. Having as many supporters is highly encouraged. The
location is:

Pasadena, CA  91105

If transportation is needed, it may be possible to seek some assistance.
