Dear Students, Families and Supporters,

I hope that you all are well and having a productive start to the school
year. Its that time of year again, college application season is just about
to be upon us. As current and former college students, we know that this is
a stressful time where there are often more questions than answers, and
where so many choices lie in front of you. So, the California Association of
Blind Students will be having a two-part, "How To College" series for
interested students, their families and educators as well. The first part of
this series will be a call about the college application process, taking
place on Monday, September 29th at 7PM Pacific time. Come to hear from
students who applied to the University of California (UC), the CSU's, and
community college transfers. We will be discussing how to navigate the
application process as a blind student, crafting personal essay questions,
why students chose their schools, and much, much more.

We look forward to seeing you all for a vibrant conversation on Monday the
29th at 7PM PST.
