Subject: Cherry Creek Sneak - May 1st - WELCOMES BLIND RUNNERS AND GUIDES

Hello Friends of the Blind,

I am so excited to share this news! The Cherry Creek Sneak has accepted my proposal to welcome blind runners. The Cherry Creek Sneak is welcoming Blind Runners and their Guides by honoring senior rates to all blind runners and waiving the registration fee for their guides for the 5K event on May 1, 2011. These athletes will start 2 minutes earlier than the rest of the race field. All will be chip-timed. This is the first race in Colorado to welcome and highlight blind athletes in this manner!

Please help spread the word by forwarding this message to other organizations and individuals who are involved with the visually impaired.

I am attaching the registration forms. The race has asked that these forms be mailed to the address listed on the form instead of using the online registration process. Both guide and runner must complete the form.

For additional information on the race, visit the website: http://www.cherrycreeksneak.com/

I am spear heading this effort to include as many visually impaired athletes as possible for this event. If you, or your athlete have questions on this event or are in need of a running tether, please contact me by email: Deborahconley19 at gmail.com. I would like to know who's running, so I can prepare back bib names for guides and runners. Please contact me if you would like a back bib.

Hoping to meet you in person at this event.

Deb Conley
