Hi all.
Please share this email with others.  That have a dog, and those who are interested, and or support guide dog users.  I would like to have a meeting on the 22nd at 5:00Pm, or 6:00Pm.    
At this meeting I would like everyone to bring two ideas.  One for the state seminar, and one for our conference calls, and how to get other members involved year-round.
If you would like to do so, please contact one guide dog school, and see if they will send us information, and or door prizes.  For example, The Guide dog Foundation has these new cards with the two questions that people can ask in businesses.  I would like to have the vet and may be a mobile groomer at the seminar.  Also have the schools talk about things such as grooming.  For example, does the breed of dog matter how many times they are bathed throughout the year?"?  My second idea is to have like a celebration ceremony for all of the dogs including the new ones in the state.  My last idea is to create some kind of award for someone involved in the guide dog community, a school, or even a vet.  Just a couple of my Ideas.  Will bring more information to the meeting.
I have a report on fundraisers.  One new one is that Casey Schueler has agreed to make these nice blankets for us to sell and may be donate one to the auction.  She made one for her dog, and will be making one for me, and one for marty.  Diane Filipe has agreed to have the pins done for us by state convention if not before.  Haven?t had a chance to contact personally yours for the bags again.  I plan to do that tomorrow afternoon.
