I am not blind but I work in the field. Any advice on how to prep people on how to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for all involved would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for volunteer opportunities for my clients that are 14-24 in the San Jose/Palo Alto area. If you or someone you know is looking for extra help especially in the summer months. please let me know. I'd be happy to introduce you to someone in my network if you're looking for something or someone in particular to speak to. I'm also looking for companies that are open to providing a lunch and learn type of activity. We've had past events at Google and we're planning on going to Netflix. I'm looking for other types of businesses besides technology that are open to this. If you are someone you know that is a visually impaired and employed somewhere interesting and wants to let students job shadow or tour your company, please email me ajine at vistacenter.org They don't necessarily have to be blind or visually impaired but it is beneficial for students to see someone who is blind or visually impaired thriving at work. Please share this within your network! #visuallyimpaired #accessibility #handson # recruiting # students # edtech Thank you! *Amy Jine* *Transition Program Specialist* *Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired* *101 N.
