COLUMBUS-Today, the COTA Board of Trustees approved fare adjustments that go into affect Jan. 1, 2012. 

Along with the fare changes comes the introduction of a 31-day pass, which replaces the monthly pass. The 31-Day Pass does not have a specific day scheduled to begin use and is activated on the bus when the customer chooses. 

. Local, Crosstown $1.75 to $2.00 
. LINK $0.75 to $1.00 
. Express $2.50 to $2.75 
. Discount (senior, child, Key)  $0.85 to $1.00 
. ADA fixed-route FREE to $1.00 
. Children (under 48" tall) FREE  
. DayPass $4.00 to $4.50 
. Discount DayPass $2.00 to $2.25
. 7-Day Pass $22.00 to $25.00 
. 31-Day Pass (monthly) 
        Local $55.00 to $62.00 
        Express $78.00 to $85.00 
        Discount (senior, child, Key, ADA) $27.50 to $31.00 
        
** Transfers remain free, valid up to two hours. Additional $0.75 required to ride Express buses when paying with Local fare media, including transfers. 

. ADA Mainstream $3.00 to $3.50 
. ADA Mainstream Monthly $89.00 to $105.00 
. Non-ADA $4.00 to $5.00 
. Will Call $3.50 to $4.00 

. Special Service OSU football/ Red, White & BOOM! 
        . Roundtrip $5.00 to $5.50 
        . Roundtrip Discount (senior, child, Key, ADA) $ 2.00 to $ 2.00
