Thanks, I have the open book software and the text cloner pro scanner. The problem is that when I scan written text some of it comes up as signs or reads as non since. I use the open book for pdf files attached to e-mails and such. I have never tried to use it to scan documents that I rec in the mailThanks for the info Angie

Salutations, I hope this response finds you well. I am a user of the open book software, it can be used with a number of hardware scanning systems like, regular flatbed scanners, or the pearl camera off the top of my head I don't recall the retail price, but I believe you can get both of the camera and software for less than $1000.
If you're looking for free access software, I need a day or so to look something up.
