Yes, you understood my suggestion correctly. I definitely understand that that’s a rather awkward time in the morning for students to be available, but I figured the outlet was there, why not use it. I also fear that it’s too near the national deadline which was also information that I would want to share during that segment. It was just a thought though. Any other ideas on how we might be able to pull something off?

It would be on the third Wednesday, March 18. At 11 o’clock. My only concern with this is as to whether or not students Would be available at that time on a Wednesday morning to listen. We would also have to find a way to spread the word to potential recipients that the information would be available. I do understand that it is a challenge to put something like this together when you’re not in town. We do thank you though for your efforts. If not, we can definitely try to come up with another solution.

Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. >> Hi there, thanks for sharing the minutes. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make the February meeting as I originally had it on my calendar for February 8. In hindsight I clearly counted the days incorrectly. Scheduling and planning the scholarship workshop not living in town has proven to be more cumbersome than I anticipated, however I just made a Nother suggestion to the scholarship committee. I thought during the month of March during the program that’s done monthly we could share the scholarship information in that forum. It wouldn’t achieve the same leadership training that I was hoping to complete at the scholarship, but it will in fact get information out at large both about the national and state scholarships. I just posted this idea to the scholarship committee as I shared, but would very much appreciate thoughts about what the group thinks about us doing this.
