[President Capital chapter]

Good morning,

Just wanted to let all of you know that Jordy Stringer sent me his resignation as vice president of our chapter. He will continue to be a vital part of our group, and we look forward to continuing to work with him. All of us appreciate everything he has done for our chapter so far, and look forward to much more in the future.

I have done some investigating, and our constitution does not address what to do in the case of an officer vacancy, other than that for president. Therefore, I have asked around and have learned that it is the policy that the president can appoint somebody to fill this position. I will be giving this some consideration and let all of you know shortly. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please feel free to let me know off of the list.

Also, I did want to give a friendly reminder for everyone to get their dues paid by the end of the month in order to be eligible for voting at the upcoming national convention. If you need the information on where to send your dues, please contact me or Shelly.

Also, please remember to register for convention if you have not yet done so.
