Hello,
I hope all of you are enjoying the nice fall weather so far. This is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler Chris days and, of course, the buckeye football!
I wanted to remind all of you that our next meeting Will be this upcoming Saturday, November 1, at 10:00 AM. As always, we will be meeting at the Clinton Heights, Lutheran Church at 15 Clinton Heights Ave. I will be there a half hour before the meeting to make sure that the door is open. This is going to be a very important meeting. First of all, we will be holding our biannual elections For chapter officers. Also, we will be joined by state representative Mark Seagrist. He is a sponsor of house bill 374, which is our accessible prescription drug labeling bill. Also, we will be talking about what all is going on at the federal level with the department of education And hopefully making plans for some of us to hold meetings with our congressional representatives. It will be a very packed meeting.
Also, since it will be a full meeting, and since there is the aforementioned buckeye football at noon. We will not be making official lunch plans. However, we will discuss plans for our December meeting, which we traditionally celebrate as a Christmas or holiday party.
I am looking forward to see all of you on Saturday.
Annette

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.
