Hello All,

I wanted to let everyone know that I have 7 extra tickets for the CAPA Summer Movie Series at the Ohio Theatre. There are two more audio described movies yet to come. These tickets will be free to whomever wants them. I purchased 10 and won 10 at their booth at the Columbus Arts Festival. U wukk bring them to this Saturdays meeting. If you know sighted people who would like them - the early birds get the tickets.

I look at the $40 for 10 tickets as my support for the Arts.

My personal email is Pling751 at gmail.com if you have any questions.

Thank you. Look forward to seeing those who come to the meeting.

Hello,

I hope all of you are having a great summer! It seems like it has been forever since we met, so I am very much looking forward to our meeting this upcoming Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 AM at the Clinton Heights, Lutheran Church at 15 Clinton Heights Ave. We have a lot to talk about after the national convention and in preparation for events this fall. Also, remember to listen to the next episode of the walking alone and marching together podcast. We have had some great discussions about these, and I am looking forward to another. After the meeting, many of us will be going to lunch at a new local restaurant called TK‘s hangout. It is located at 5295 North High St. I have not yet tried it, but have heard good things. Looking forward to trying it with all of you.

Take care and as always if you need anything, please reach out.

See you Saturday!

Annette

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.
