Lionel is shy, and doesn't seem to like any of the things that Nancy does. Her parents suggest that Nancy spend time with Lionel so that she can discover what they do have in common. During a visit to Lionel's house, Nancy learns that he loves lions, and from that their talent show act is created. <br>As in all the Fancy Nancy books, this makes for a great early reader for first and second grade girls. In typical fashion for Harry, one thing leads to another until he’s covered in seaweed and mistaken for a sea monster. Despite his alarming appearance, Harry enjoys the cool seaweed until heist finally (accidentally) rescued by a hot dog vendor. (Get it?
