<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><div>Good morning,</div><div><br></div><div>This is just a reminder that we will be holding our monthly meeting this Saturday, December 7, at 11:00 AM. We will also be having our traditional Christmas party and gift exchange. If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped gift With a value of around $20. I would also like to remind everybody that for the special occasion, we will be meeting this month at the rusty bucket at 4109 North High St. As we talked about in the last meeting, we could not get the private dining room, but we will be meeting on the enclosed patio. It sounded very nice and pretty much private. I think we will have a lot of fun.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, it has been a very busy time for many of our members over the last month or so. Because of this, I believe we should postpone our game night fundraiser until the end of February. We are still capturing people during the winter months when they are looking for things to do, and it gives our group a little more time for planning. I know that not much has been able to be done up until now because of everybody’s busy schedules over the holidays. Hopefully, this will be a time that we can work with. We will talk about it more on Saturday.</div><div><br></div><div>One other thing I want to let all of you know is that I am having a lot of trouble with my phone voicemail. I am getting reports of people leaving messages that I never receive. I’m not sure what’s going on with this, but if you have tried to reach out to me and I have not responded, that is probably the reason why. If I do not respond to your message, please try calling again, leaving a text message, or an email. There is no rhyme or reason to this problem, but I have had enough reports of it happening to know that there is something weird going on.</div><div><br></div><div>I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and is staying warm during this very cold time that snuck up on us. Looking forward to seeing everybody Saturday.</div><div><br></div><div>Annette.</div><div><div dir="ltr">Annette Lutz<div>President</div><div>Capital Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio</div><div>614-288-4323</div><div>President.capital.nfboh@gmail.com</div><div><span style="font-size: 13pt;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 13pt;">The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back. </span></div></div></div></body></html>
