[Cash-and-caring] Fw: Cash and Caring Committee meeting

Ramona,

I think we had spoken about potentially inviting some of the successful
affiliate fund raisers to present what they did to make it successful. I
know they're out there!

I also think we should send the notice out to the Chapter Presidents list.
There are many who do have successful fund raising efforts that we might not
hear about. Put the $5,000 amount out there and see what we get back.

As far as the meeting goes, I don't know if I will be available or not at
the lunch time period. However, that being said, I have attended many
"brown bad" meetings where attendees are encouraged to bring their own
lunch. They have always been well attended.
If I am available I can take names and information with my scholarship
winner that day. As long as I have a table and don't have to balance
anything on my lap, I'll be fine!

Jeannie

I am forwarding to the committee the notice I am asking Mrs. Jernigan to
print in the Convention agenda this summer. I have received only one
definite person for the network which is, of course, in addition to the
committee members and those who attended the Washington Seminar. We have
most of those names.

If any of you have suggestions for the meeting agenda, bring them on.

We will need to have a table outside themeeting room to take names, email
addresses, and phone numbers. It will probably take at least two
volunteers, and those two will probably miss the first part of the meeting,
but I hope to get volunteers. They may or may not be committee members, as
long as they are reliable. Pprint, Braille, or Computer are acceptable, but
it would help if they both use the same medium.
I guess I should remind everybody that the meeting is scheduled for Friday
lunchtime. I know a couple of you have conflicts, but I think this is the
best we can do. If it doesn't work, we will try something else next year.
