Good to hear, Bridgit. Thanks.

Like I said, most people seem to enjoy destruction
more than construction. Here at year-end, some of
the businesses that have such junker cars might be
more willing to get one last tax-break before
year-end, and write one off for an affiliate or
chapter to use. To use now, I suppose in the
southern states, and maybe in the spring if you
had a place to store it, in snowy states. Or, like
with the golf scramble I mentioned maybe do it out
in the snow, mid-winter. Plug it as a fun or
"aerobic" way to warm yourself up.

If you have everyone who participates sign a
waiver first, does a chapter or affiliate still
need insurance then?

You might even be able to get a radio station
involved to be there in person during your event.
You could also play it up some. Find a local
artist who'd airbrush the city's most hated sports
team on one fender, President Obama's face on
another fender, and President-Elect Trump's face
on another fender, as examples. Maybe on the 4th
fender the artist could put the logo of the radio
station's biggest rival in town, too, to get them
to pump it up further. :)

I know I've found regional photographers, artists,
musicians, balloon animal makers and more via
CraigsList.

My chapter or affiliate have never done the car
crusher, but years ago, a youth group I
participated in did. It was pretty successful.
Lots of people showed up and a lot of people
(mostly guys) wanted to take a chance smashing the
car with a sledge hammer. Don't remember how much
money was raised, but it was well attended.
