[Cash-and-Caring] Virtual fundraising

Greetings from Baltimore all;
 

I wanted to relay that to Greater Baltimore Board chapter of the Maryland affiliate is currently using the PoppinPopcorn virtual fundraiser to raise funds, and it has been a terrific option while we were waiting to go back to in person meetings.

No contract was required, and the company reimbursed 50% of the value of merchandise sold to people who click on the virtual site and make purchases with their credit or debit cards. We promoted it as a virtual concession stand for popcorn and snacks in association with a free movie night honoring Black History Month last month, and women’s history month coming up before the end of March.

I highly recommend checking it out to any fundraising committee. It was my first fundraising effort for my chapter, and it is going very well.
