Hi Don,

The concept is rather basic. Macy’s provides us with a ‘brochure’ which
contains  2 coupons; one for twenty percent and one twenty five percent off
purchases at Macy’s. We sell the ‘brochure’ for five dollars (that 5 dollars
is ours to keep).  It  is ongoing from now until October 17th. Each Wednsday
we report into Macy’s our sales for the week.  The top five organizations in
sales has the opportunity to be inside of Macy’s to sell the ‘brochures’ to
customers inside the store on that Saturday, 17 October.

There is a place on the ‘brochure’ for the name of our organization.  There
is a form on the brochure that the customer can place their name and enter
into a five hundred dollar drawing on 17 October.

If we want to do it we need to fill out the application, located at Macys
web site: HYPERLINK "http://www.macys.com/"www.macys.com.

At the time we submit the application we  need to provide Macy’s with a
letter or documentation showing our non-profit tax id number.The application
and non-profit status  documentation can either be uploaded or sent in by
fax.  

I like the idea and it’s not complicated and  potentially could bring in
some  easy money.

If Les can sell these brochures like he does candy bars, it would be a great
fund raiser...(smile)

Les,

The closest Macy’s is in Vancouver Mall (Westfield Shopping Town). I did
stop by and got the details on the project. If you want I will describe the
details on the list.
