[Cccnfbw] Fw: Ice Cream Social with WSSB Students

What do we expect in return? Do we think that several kids are going  to
become members of the NFBW from a couple of ice cream socials? Not likely!

However, benefits canhappen  because   we are consistent in having ice cream
socials and involving the kids in the planning of these socials.

They will take this back to their parents  which could leave a positive
attitude with the parents about the NFBW. 

Like most people as they get older, they will reflect back on their WSSB
experiences and remember what the NFBW did for their memories at WSSB.   

If we can interject some NFB philosophy at the socials, who nows how a kid
might grab it and change their life.

By doing nothing we assure ourselves they will learn nothing about the NFB!

Hi Kay,

Students would love to have another Ice Cream Social with NFB members. They
came up with a little twist they would like to suggest to the members. They
thought a talent show consisting of the students and NFB members would be
fun prior to the Ice Cream Social. They would also like to have warm drinks,
such as hot apple cider and cocoa. They would like to suggest sometime after
winter break, perhaps January or February. Let us know your thoughts. Have a
