Good job everyone.  That's a GREAT idea to sell at that Starbucks location.  It's a very busy location.  This is a great way to make money for the NFB.

Hi CCC, 

  

A big thank you to all who participated in our successful candy bar fund raiser this past weekend. 

  

We started  with about 8  cases (240 bars). When Doug picked up the stuff Sunday night, we only had 75 melt-a-aways let. 

Just a big thank you for of those who were able to participate and help out. 

To Doug and Laura who delivered and picked up 

The table, charis and bars. To Mario, Don, Felix, Bernie, Maurice and Betty for their time spent at the table. 

A thank you to Felix for making a sign we could use at the table, indicating the organization doing the fund raiser. Felix and Bernie not only spent  a couple of hours at the table Sunday, but I understand they ‘hustled’ some bars at their bowling on Saturday night. Good show, guys. 

   

 I know there were others who would have liked to helpbut situations prevented it. You will have your chances later. 

  

On Saturday Doug happened to be in the Starbuck’s, just North of the Fred Meyers wer we were at. 

Not sure how it happened but he made contact with the Starbuck’s manager and she will give us permission to have a sale at that Starbucks. This will be up for discussion, but I’m thinking of trying it on December 14 th . Possibly for 4 or 5 hours. Doug indicated they were really busy  when he was there. Everyone know Starbucks coffee and chocholate goes together. We can also push for stocking stuffers. 

  

Doug can give out information on how much we made and how the Starbucks contact was made.  Thanks Doug.
